“I have been with Home for over three years, starting as a Digital Sourcing Officer. However, after about a year, I felt that this job no longer had enough attraction and space for me to learn more. At the same time, I received several offers for other related jobs, such as Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. And with some serendipity, Home Credit was looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) position to the Chief People Officer (CPO) - Ms. Alexis Pham. Currently, I am the PA of the CPO of Home Credit Vietnam.
After a period of bonding and experiencing many changes, I recently identified Home as a "safe place" to experience new things. For me, Home is a safe place for me to be "scared" and make mistakes because I know that people will always support and accompany me, and I will learn from those experiences. These are the most meaningful things I see when I am at Home.
Going through the early post-graduation phase, when I was still fluctuating and had not yet found my direction, I now feel lucky to be working with Home Credit, given the opportunity and trust to carry out various projects such as improving the eNPS index for the HR department through bonding activities. When I was in my old position, I didn't really know what I wanted to do, but now I can confidently answer the direction I want to pursue in the future.
There is a saying that I deeply resonate with: "The ultimate goal of learning something new is to achieve something, not just for the joy of experiencing it." Reflecting on this statement, at Home Credit, I have learned three important things:
- First: Meta skills - a set of skills that can support job execution in any department of an organization.
- Second: Collaboration - an important factor leading to success for each individual as well as the organization.
- Third: Open-mindedness - I have become more open-minded in thinking, shifting from thinking to problem-solving.
At Home, besides the environment and colleagues, a mentor has also helped me a lot in orienting and developing myself. I feel lucky to have received guidance from Ms. Alexis. She has helped me to orient my development path and has also influenced me on the factor of Customer Obsession. This helps me anticipate the needs of stakeholders and address them before they need to come to me.
In summary, during my journey at Home Credit, I was empowered, trusted, gained a lot of experience, and especially found my desired direction to pursue. Thank you, Home Credit for this wonderful journey.”
