HOME STATION | EXPLORE #LIFELONGLEARNING AT HOME CREDIT

At Home Credit, November is also a month of appreciation for the "special person who help us grow". We appreciate our internal trainers and special person of each member of the Home family. Thank you all for accompanying Home in spreading the #LifeLongLearning culture at Home Credit.

Let’s meet three Home Credit special guests to explore the #LifeLongLearning at Home:

πŸ”΄ Perspective from an Internal Trainer: Ms. Truc Lam – Sales Training Team Leader

πŸ’ What circumstances led you to the "teaching profession" and your current role at Home Credit - as an enthusiastic conveyer of knowledge and essential skills for the Sales team of Home Credit?

The twist of fate that brought me into the teaching profession dates back to 2015. After graduating and working for a period, my experiences and interactions with various cases made me realize that clear guidance and support for new employees lead to a quicker grasp of their roles and better success during the probation period. Long-term employees, on the other hand, need inspiration and motivation, and being close to positive energy sources contributes to their love for the job and the company. At that time, I aspired to become a trainer, setting my mission as an inspirational figure spreading the most positive values, finding joy when my students become the "better versions" of themselves.

πŸ’ Can you share your most memorable experience or achievement during your training at Home Credit?

What I personally take pride in during my time at Home is my ongoing contribution to providing courses and content tailored to the company's needs and the profile of learners. I've made small contributions to spreading the learning culture of Home to everyone. The feedback and evaluations from students, along with feedback on the values they gained, motivate me to be more motivated and cherish the path of teaching.

πŸ’ From the perspective of a trainer at Home Credit, what are your thoughts on the #LifeLongLearning culture at Home? What impresses you the most?

Not only in the role of a trainer but also as an employee, I highly appreciate the #LifeLongLearning culture because I believe that everything always operates in the direction of development. There will always be new things and changes, and only through learning can individuals develop and adapt to the times. What impresses me at Home is the multitude of training programs covering diverse topics (industry knowledge, skills, and even modern AI technology). The various learning channels (online, direct, Udemy, internal and external instructors) create many opportunities for each employee to learn and improve themselves.

πŸ’ On this Teacher's Day, do you want to send special congratulations to anyone?

On the occasion of November 20th, I want to send wishes of health and success to all colleagues working in the training at Home Credit. I hope that everyone maintains their passion for the profession and collaborates in building a strong and developing learning culture at Home.

🟠 Perspective from a Learner: Mr. Phuong Vo – DevOps Engineer

πŸ’ At Home, how have you been provided with opportunities and conditions for learning and personal development? And what has impressed you about the learning and development environment at Home?

As a Home Credit employee, I find the #LifeLongLearning culture at Home to be outstanding in encouraging employees to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities. I am deeply grateful for the numerous opportunities and favorable conditions offered for learning and personal development. The two most significant opportunities include:

  1. Engaging and learning from experienced experts in the IT field from both Czech and Vietnam.
  2. Skill development programs from the Learning & Talent Development department: Online learning resources such as Udemy offer numerous in-depth IT courses and soft skills. Monthly workshops within the company, as well as specialized training programs, contribute to this culture.

My most memorable experience is related to the Public Speaking training program from the L&D department. As an IT engineer, I had limited chances to refine presentation skills in front of an audience and struggled when speaking to a large audience. Fortunately, I was chosen to participate in the training program. The result after three months of participation was a significant improvement in confidence in interacting and presenting to a crowd, unexpectedly achieving the best performance in the training program.

πŸ’ On November 20th, please send a heartfelt wish to teachers or those worked in Learning & Talent Development Team.

On this special day, I express my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and the Learning & Talent Development Team at Home for their dedication and enthusiasm in building quality training programs for Home Credit Vietnam employees. I wish all teachers and colleagues good health and passion to continue their vital mission in fostering a #LifeLongLearning culture at Home.

🟑 Perspective from a member of the Training and Development Department: Mr. Viet Phan – Learning & Talent Development Specialist

πŸ’ As someone working in Learning & Talent Development (L&TD), how do you feel about the #LifeLongLearning at Home? What aspect impresses you the most?

I find the #LifeLongLearning culture at Home to be a crucial factor shaping the work environment. Employees are encouraged not only to acquire technical skills but also to develop soft skills and knowledge related to various business areas. This creates a positive atmosphere, fostering creativity, and readiness to face challenges.

πŸ’ How is Home Credit building, sustaining, and promoting the #LifeLongLearning culture?

Home Credit has created a positive learning environment by providing various training and development activities to meet the diverse needs of employees. This includes forums for sharing knowledge about the company's business through the Home Credit Business School, foundational and functional training programs, and thousands of online courses on the Udemy platform. Leadership training is highly emphasized at Home to equip employees with the necessary knowledge and skills for team leadership. The "Skills for Future" program ensures that employees are well-prepared for the evolving demands of the industry.

πŸ’ During your time at Home, is there any class or sharing session that left a lasting impression? Please share your memories and impressions.

One of the most memorable experiences was participating in a Business School session with the theme "Fraud Prevention in the Digital Transformation Era" with nearly 200 participants. In addition to updating knowledge on fraud and fraud prevention in the digital age, I had the opportunity to hone my risk management skills and avoid falling victim to cyber fraud techniques.

πŸ’ On November 20th, please send your wishes to teachers or those involved in training and development.

On November 20th, I want to express my gratitude to all trainers, not only internal instructors but also those contributing to nurturing the growth of employees. Thank you for the efforts, dedication, and enthusiasm in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of Home's entire workforce, promoting a culture of lifelong learning within the organization.
