KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is responsible for definition of effective, efficient, and realistic Data governance requirements that are enforceable, measurable, and valid throughout the Group in order to protect value of Data and business sustainability.
- Supervises implementation and operation of Data governance in the Company
- Implement local regulations, regulatory requirements into Company policies, procedures
- Prepares local guidelines in the area of Data Management
- Regularly provides Data Governance Sponsor with reports/ overviews on Data Governance topics to be presented by Data Governance Sponsor to EXCO or ORC.
- Data Governance Policy advice role.
- Ambassador of Data Governance and best practices source.
- Second Line of Defence for Data Governance - supervises implementation and operation of Data Governance.
- Cooperates with the Legal & Compliance, IT Security, Operational Risk, Data Protection officer to ensure compliance and consistency with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Cooperates with the Enterprise Architect in order to mutually propagate strategies and principles among Data Governance and Enterprise Architecture.
- Regularly provides inputs (reports/ overviews) on Data Governance topics to Data Governance Sponsor.
- Provides expertise and support to other Company functions in the Data Governance and Data Quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
- Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
- Demonstrated consulting skills, iincluding communication and performance measurement system design
- Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
- Bachelors or Masters [in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management]
