Data Science Expert

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for independent development or validation of risk models (including antifraud, underwriting and collection models) as well CRM models and challenging current approaches to machine learning model development
• Create datasets used for development or validation, ensure samples are representative of production population and data are in good quality
• Creative feature engineering skills
• Develop high-quality machine learning models
• Perform quantitative assessment of model performance based on development, validation and out-of-time samples
• Documentation of model development or validation and communication of results to senior managers and presentation to relevant departments
• Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in risk data science, continuously improve model performance, research the latest modeling practices 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• BS/MS degree in data science, statistics, computer science, applied mathematics or any quantitative discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in data science, developing statistical models
• Experience with SQL (Oracle, Spark)
• Experience with Python data science stack (such as numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, xgboost, etc.)
• Experience with machine learning – practical experience as well as theoretical background
• Experience with code versioning in Git
• Good English
• Superior analytical skills and logical thinking, ability to independently learn new tools and technologies
• Proactive approach, ability to work autonomously, responsible for completing assigned tasks in time without compromising quality
• Flexibles and adaptable for changes
