Sourcing Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confer with vendors to obtain product and service information, including pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Estimate values based on market price knowledge to ensure competitive sourcing.
• Consolidate and challenge internal stakeholders' demands to maximize volume and secure the best proposals from suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers for updated market solutions to optimize costs and drive company benefits.
• Manage the full sourcing-to-contracting cycle to achieve targeted savings.
• Prepare and manage RFX processes for bidding requests.
• Maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Review bidding proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary and authority limits.
• Address issues with defective or non-compliant goods/services by coordinating with quality control, users, and vendors to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with AP and Procurement teams to resolve payment disputes related to operational activities and contract execution.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced in Sourcing/Supply chain management/Purchasing/Procurement/Office admin positions
• Open to all industries with hands-on experience in purchasing
• Familiar with working with systems, experience in using SAP is a plus
• Detail-oriented, careful, good adaptation, deadline-oriented
• English from intermediate level
